On Display: Loka Pawns & Painting Class with Fernando Ruiz

Just some display shots of the first pieces for my Loka board game set...

This was a fun little project that helped me understand colors, hues and NMM a lot better. I can't wait to get back to it!

June 13-14 Fernando Ruiz will be teaching a class here in Toronto with our local figure painting club! I am going and highly recommend it if you are looking to improve your skills and live anywhere near the Toronto area. I am always jealous of the guys in Europe and the UK who have access to these types of classes and the various ones offered at conventions in the US!

Next post: Likely back to 40k with some WIPS on my part of the NOFC charity armies for this years raffle at the NOVA Open!

Thanks for taking a look. Hit me up in the comments with questions or critiques and remember; you can't spell paint without a little pain :)

  3. Whoa you are so lucky to have Ruiz go to Canada and impart his knowledge to the local painters. I am so envious ... I am turning green sans the muscles. ^_^
