Next post: Maybe back to that NOCF inspired vignette I was working on, or my first try at a bust for a mini exchange or back to my Loka chess set or...
Anyway, thanks for clicking and remember, you can't spell paint without a little pain :)

  1. Great work Zab! It looks like I'll have to do this too, my son would love it!

    1. By the way, he still loves the Aegis defense line and quad autocannon you gave him! He uses them proudly every time he plays his Space Marines.

    2. Just don't let him talk you into painting one of the bigger star wars command sets O_o !!! They have one with like 60 figures inside. I'm glad to hear he likes the terrain, those are some of the best kits GW has produced.

  2. They looks great. I particularly like the Zeb. The face is really characterful. I'm not familiar with the game. Is it like Imperial Assault? (I just painted up a few of those minis, I bet you'd enjoy them too)

  4. Nice work on those! I have seen these on clearance at the local Target, and wondered if the figures were all that good. Also, it is too bad there is not a Hera figure, or a later Ezra.

    1. I know! I would have loved to paint up Hera. They do have one set with 22 figures that has light saber Ezra but he; still wearing the helmet.

  5. Your paint job adds a lot of detail to what are likely basic sculpts. Maybe I should pick up some of the Star Wars command sets.

    1. Thanks! Yeah soft is a generous way to describe the detail. Also they are the weird SDE flexy plastic so they are hard to prep. So... many... mold lines...
