  1. That is absolutely fantastic - Loving the depth on the purple and the leather, simply awesome!

    1. Thanks man! Stole the leather technique from Ben's shield maiden bust ;). The purple satin was all me though! She picked up a horrible mention at the IPMS show in Hamilton last weekend too and is currently making her way to her new owner :)

  2. The purple is define Zab. I can see the misses requesting that color on a dress the second I show her this piece of yours. Such a great choice of colors!

    1. Thanks! scale 75 inktense violet. I'm sure all the dress makers have that one on standby in their color swatches :)

  5. Great work overall but I like the eyes the most. Makes her come alive. Did you happen to use gloss varnish on them?

    1. I did, there are several finishes of varnish on the whole piece. gloss for the eyes and lenses, satin for the leather and hair and then a mix of satin and matte for the skin and then matte for the shirt. It's another way to reinforce contrast on a piece. You can use color, texture and finish as contrast!

By all means have your say, but please keep it civil.
